Tokyo Sing Song is a basement nightclub, live music venue, and performance space below the Marlborough Hotel. Having worn many hats since it came into being, a DJ and dance floor focus was adopted in late 2016. Now with two stages, a bigger dance floor, improved lighting, and a QSC sound system from Buzz Speaker Hire, Friday and Saturday nights go late and loud every week.
Nights are curated by promoters, DJs, record labels, and party crews who bring a multitude of sounds to the space including, but not limited to, house, techno, disco, soul, hip hop, broken beat, jazz, Italo, electro, reggae, dancehall, grime, garage, and future bass. Many parties are free but some have an entry fee which we try to keep around $10, but please understand that more ambitious events and interstate and international acts have larger costs associated. It is our priority for the venue to be a place you can see, hear, and experience something unique.
The most important thing is that everyone has fun and that the dancefloor and venue as a whole is a safe and inclusive space for all. We love the LGBTQIAA community and respect it as a cornerstone of the world’s nightlife, music making, and party culture. We have zero tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, aggression or discrimination of any kind. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable, please notify staff.
Tokyo Sing Song loves a party and if you want to put one on in the venue, please email Harold at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are also available earlier on Friday and Saturday as well as throughout the week to host your function or event. Please send a message to email@example.com.
