Do you have parking?

There is plenty of metered street parking within walking distance.

Do you have disability access?

We have disabled access to our ground floor, beer garden & disabled toilet.

What is your Family/Children policy?

Kids under 18 are welcome under the supervision of a parent or guardian until 10pm.

What days are you closed?

We are closed on Christmas Day.

Is there a dress code?

We do not have a dress code, all we ask is that patrons dress appropriately.

Do I need to make a booking, or can I just walk in?

We take a mix of both bookings and reservations. We take a certain amount of bookings for each time frame and also leave some of the venue available for people to be able to walk in.

Can I stay longer than 2 or 3 hours?

At the moment we are operating on sitting times as we have capacity restrictions - thank you for understanding.

Can we get up and walk around - do we have to be sat down the whole time?

You can now stand in the venue, we do recommend you stay socially distant where possible. 

What is the current capacity of the venue?

Depending on the amount of walk-ins currently in venue, it is difficult to give an accurate number of availability. Your best bet is to walk in.

Public Transport?

It's just a short walk to Newtown or Macdonaldtown Train Station and there are bus stops are right outside the venue, both towards the inner west & towards the CBD.

Can I bring my dog?

The Marly is PROUDLY dog friendly. Support animals are always welcome!

Can I bring a cake?

We love cake, if you bring one you might have to share it with us too! We are more than happy to provide napkins.

Who do I speak to about lost property?

Please call the venue on 9519 1222 and follow the prompts to speak to the venue about any lost property.

Is there a behaviour code?

Absolutely. We have ZERO tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, aggression or discrimination of any kind. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable, please notify staff

Can we book for large groups?

We can accept standard bookings of up to 30 pax. For any bookings over 30, it will be classified as an event, for bookings of this size please contact our events team on book.marlboroughhotel@solotel.com.au to reach an event planner, or to click through to the Plan Your Event.

Is there a long line to wait to get in over the weekend?

We take a mix of both bookings and walk-ins. We take a certain amount of bookings for each time frame and also leave some of the venue available for people to be able to walk in. Depending on the time you wish to arrive, there may be a wait. The team will do their best to accommodate everyone. Please practise social distancing while in the line.

Do I need to eat or can I just drink?

We take both dining bookings and drinks bookings. You don’t need to have a meal if you are booking.

I received a $25 Birthday Voucher! How do I redeem it?

To redeem your birthday voucher, simply show it to a member of staff at the bar when making a purchase! The voucher can only be used on transactions of food and beverage with a value of $25 or higher. The voucher cannot be redeemed in bottle shops or used to purchase cigarettes. The voucher is valid for the duration of the month it is issued.
