From showcasing the best in homegrown live music to providing a haven for locals & visitors to enjoy a night out or a sunny arvo bevvie in our Beer Garden - we are a voice for fun and creativity in Newtown.

MARLY - A Local Staple

The Marly boasts decades of history and service to Newtown & its locals. To the left is a pic of the Marly c. 1940 upon the completion of the building as it currently stands today. Brick, tiles & lettering shown are all still there in 2019!

The Marly is a loud, proud & vocal supporter of live music. Every Friday night we showcase some of the best up & coming live acts in the Sydney & interstate areas. The Marly has hosted events with Happy Mag, FBi Radio & King Street Crawl/Carnival.

Newtown's hidden rave cave, Tokyo Sing Song is a nightclub beneath the Marly that puts on some of the best acts in house, techno, disco, soul, hip hop, broken beat, jazz, Italo, electro, reggae, dancehall, grime, garage, and future bass (to name a few).
